DC animal shelters have hundreds of adorable kittens and cats that need homes. Most immediately, they need foster homes: generous animal lovers who can "host" a litter, maybe a mom too. Many of the kittens are too young to be adopted yet, so they need space in a home temporarily until they are old enough to be put up for adoption. Basically, you would need to have a room that you can close off from your other animals -- even a spare bathroom would be better than the cages they are stuffed into now. Tails of the City would love to meet you and your pets to arrange the services you require while away from your home. Call us for more information and to schedule a pre-service interview. We charge a one time registration fee of $25 for this pre-service visit.
